Well, I cannot complain to much. I got my 69 LM1 (before I or the seller knew what that was) off ebay. All I knew is that is had a # match 350/4speed/12bolt multi car w gauges. It was "customized" on the gauges (to all 70's era digital speedo and tach) and "electric" doors. She is also now her original hugger orange and all of the components are back to original. I was amazed that the reverse safety switch still worked as well as all of the smog equipment is still intact. This is the most original camaro that I have ever owned.
Conversely, a short while after I bought a 69 roller that was supposed to be a SS. Well long story short, it was not. It was cloned. So, I guess the point I am trying to make is there are still some good deals out there, but you have to be very careful!! It's like a trip to the casino, never go into it with more than you can afford to lose, and if you happen to win great!
