1. I have always held to my liberal side, despite the fact that most professors are liberal. Studies are always biased; that is one of the first things we learned in Sociology. Granted many studies may lead to an overall conclusion, don't take those studies as fact. In essence, don't believe everything you hear, read etc.

2. The percentage of poor people is not the same. That is fact. This also depends on where you draw the line for poor people . . . the line keeps changing to keep the percentage the same, that's how it's set up.

3. I know! This sucks . . . My generation is going to be the first generation where we don't have it as good or better than our parents or grandparents; we're gonna have it worse.

4. I prefer to try and not associate myself with any particular party, but if I had to, I would definitely be liberal. Despite myself being liberal, I still have my own views on things, such as still being able to own as many guns as you want, cars as you want, etc. Likewise, funding for mass transit was cut after WWII, so that people would have to buy their own vehicles. Not to sound sneeky, but the govt. wanted this to boost the economy.

5. Socialism has failed, and will never work, I agree. I have no doubt that capitalism is the way to go, but there are still flaws in the system. Now that I reread my post, It seemed like I sounded a little Communist/Socialist myself, but that is NOT THE CASE! I agree with some points. I disagree with some points. What do you want me to tell you? All I can tell you is what I'm thinking.

6. I have a feeling that before that much of a % goes to my paycheck, there will be some sort of "revolution" in one way or another. Either the system will fail, or there will be an uprising . . . or so I hope

7. I agree with the entitlement crap, but you should be entitled to what your family has worked for you to have; i.e. funding for a college education.

8. Why the hell are we talking about this anyway? I get enough of this garbage in class; I don't think I need any more. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm gonna stop talking now.

Next time you have something to say, please be curtious enough to spell my name right. I likewise you should be entitled to a correct spelling.
