First and foremost ..... nice looking wagon ! As you can see by mine, I also have an affinity for four-doors and a tailgate !
I know from FIRSTHAND experience that there is MUCH speculation on muscle-wagons. I am VERY well aquainted with the Indy Pace Car support wagons. It is no secret that they made 455 Vista Cruiser wagons. That is FACT ! However, where the speculation gets VERY, and I mean VERY gray is when the notion of a W-30 prepared wagon comes up. I would need to see ORIGINAL documentation that completely and thoroughly articulates the W-30 package on an A-body wagon.
A W-25 hood, does not a W-30 make. 
I honestly don't think that anyone was slamming the car ... It is DAMN nice. When you've got something like you've got (I assume that it's yours ??), the skin has to take on an extra "thickness" ......
