Yeah, I was pretty excited about speaking with him. There have been 5 owners prior to me (I thought there was 6 until today
) and I have spoken to 3 of them now. The 4th owner has a body shop in town and he has been very helpful in documenting the car. I called him today to see if he could help me locate some of the remaining guys. I mentioned who I was still looking for (John and Steve let's say) and he said, "Oh, John just drove by my house a few hours ago pulling a trailer with some mattresses or something on it and Steve works with a buddy of mine". Talk about small town luck! He has promised to get their numbers for me the next time he sees them.
Researching these car is half the fun for sure and I just love it when a previous owner starts telling stories about his time with the car and you can hear the smile on his face
