Wasn't there only like 188 '71 LS6 Vettes built? How many could be still around? I remember seeing a "71 LS6 Registry" somewhere online. We had one here in NJ that ran NHRA SS/CA out of Truppi-Kling Competition. The car driven by Bernie Agaman was S/S champion in '74 or '75. These 71 LS6 Vettes were very powerful even with lower compression. They also had aluminum open chamber heads like the L88 and ZL1. If you buy that Vette I don't think you can lose as an investment, as long it has the original drivetrain. Go for it.
