Go buy some styro-foam and cut it in half and then hollow out the two halves and insert the head into the two peices. Get some long/thick Zip ties and secure the two halves together and then box them in a thick box. (use smaller thinner cardboard strips to lay under the Zip Ties so they dont dig into the foam and break it during shipping also) Would weigh less than wood and thus cheaper to ship. Oh if you go this route, Tape over any of the open ports to keep any foam from entering the ports.
