All you Sox fans have to remember that the Curse is far from over. Just because your team made it to the World Series does not mean the Babe is rolling in his grave.
May the best team win. I am excited to see the results.

Yes, I am huge Yankee fan.

Dan,
While I can certainly understand your appreciation for the talent and history of the Yanks, sometimes you have to yield and let others have some fun too.
Nobody is a better example of a 100% pure pro ballplayer than Derek Jeter, and not even Ralph Lauren himself could ever design a better-looking pinstriped suit. The Yankees ARE babeball.
But let us have our fun. You will live to see many more World Series games with the Bronx Bombers- we will be lucky just to see a few more.
There is no such thing as "The Curse" -- it is all in good fun and part of baseball lore.
You have to understand how exciting it is for ANY team and their fans to beat the Yankees. (Minor case in point: how will NY fans feel on Sunday if the Jets beat the 20-straight-game-winning, Super Bowl Champion N.E. Patriots?)
Of course I hope "the curse is broken." The Curse has always been more about the nemesis that is the NY Yankees - moreso than any World Series victory.
But I agree that the "actual" definition of "The Curse" is the 1918-??? run of no championships for Boston.
Wish us luck.
Steinbrenner will spend another $185,000,000 next year and you'll be right back in step again!
