How did that candy taste in the machine?
[/ QUOTE ] That's actually just a Google pic of a machine identical to mine...except for the lack of candy. I have to borrow a pickup tomorrow so I can haul it home. Mine by memory only has remnants of an old Lifesavers wrapper left in it, but you can bet it'll have a Clark bar and some teaberry gum in it when it finally gets settled into my garage. I've got to first find out just how old it is before I can start looking for era correct stickers to day-2 it out with.

The original hammertone paint on this one is super, the purists would probably think it's sacrilege to put old racing decals on it. Maybe I'll have to reconsider...

I sure hope I don't get addicted to this...I was just complaining about how much of this sort of old non car junk was cluttering the Carlisle swap meet this past weekend, and I'm even trying to decorate my garage. I was amazed at some of the prices too.

I guess I should at least feel better about finding this thing relatively cheap at the local sidewalk sale, and having the $ go to people who are now w/o homes...instead of paying silly ebay or Carlisle $ and having it go in some stranger's pocket. Now I'm sure one of you Chicago boys knows how to crack one of these w/o the keys, right?
