Jeff is right about CA cars and obtaining factory information on Canadian SOLD cars only through GM of Canada.
Camaro's were only built in two plants in 1969,Van Nuys and Norwood and the NOR cars are the only ones to list the X77or X33 on the trim tag unless it is a very early one.There are ways to determine if a Van Nuys car is a "performance car" (ie. an SS or Z/28 model)but it's not as cut & dried as a Norwood car is.
