I had seen a 68 Hemi RR early in the day with a horrid silver paint (according to tag was B5 blue originally) but had the hemi motor, a 4 spd, and a dana rear. I made a mental note to come back later to meet the owner. At the end of the day I caught up to the owner and what a story. He has had it for about a year and bot it from his neighbor, the original owner - he had been wearing the guy down for TWENTY years. The car is all there, including original drive train AND is documented out the whazzo. He even has the cancelled check for the payment of the car. Car is ruff looking but is very rust free. Black bucket interior, dog dish, dana 3.54 rear, hemi 4 speed, both original carbs, etc. He has been collecting parts and wanted to take it to one last show before starting the rotissiere resto. I got a nice ride in it back to my car and she still had her punch. He said he plans to have it done by this time next year.
Oh, and one last thing.... he bot it for $10,000.00
