Rolled in at 5:30 this morning...and just like clockwork the kids were climbing on me by 7:30! As Eminem says, "Back to reality"! LOL!! Great to be home, though...
Anyway, about Stanton...super weather both days, and the Bow-tie brigade flat took it to the rest of the field! We found some more ET/MPH in the yellow submarine...the new Poly bushings helped out my short times, but all that energy is now making it to the track and it's hazing the tires *HARD* on the 1-2 shift...like kick the rear out hard! Lots of "pucker" when the rear steps out at speed on these tires...so, the valve body is coming out, as I'm pretty confident there's a tenth and some MPH to be had just from softening the shift. For a heavy Camaro (3746!) she ain't running too bad...
Big Dog had Julie going just filthy fast in the 'Vette, and even his bonehead brother Scott jumped in the car and ran an 11.58 while drifting the car in a couple gears! JJ's 'Vette was just a tick back in the 11.60s running his usual HUGE MPH (121-122!)...Pete's car was fighting him the entire weekend, but he was still going low 12-teens, but had a tough draw against an LS6 'Vette that had seen some 12.0s. I drew Spetzman's 440-6 SuperBee for either the 3rd of 4th year in a row!
