Anytime i have had a block with too many numerals for the month and day,and also when the Letter suffix started with a A or B [usually but not always]it has been marine application. I used to buy blocks from Marinas in CT and RI and each time they were either non stamped[for 66 and 67] or A,B with 5 numerals in the case of 1968 and 1969 vintage blocks.
