On a slightly different tact, no matter what you have heard before, Corvette big block ex manifolds
will fit on a 69 Camaro, without power steering. Didn't try it on a power steering car, but they may also fit there too. Only problem with the manifolds is ground clearance, not sub frame interference. There isn't room for the ex heat riser and you need to get creative with the flange gasket. In fact, there is even more room around the drivers side manifold using the Vette manifold than there is with the stock ex manifold. I'd heard all the stories too, but when I got my hands on a pair of Corvette manifolds and a 69 Camaro, I just had to give it a try......
