....... I'll do all the work I can to my cars. Even oil changes. It only takes a few minutes..

Similar situation Darren. My ex-wife took her Blazer to the local GM dealer for an oil change/tire rotation. When she picked it up she noticed something wasn't right; a red light on the dash. She shut it off and went back to the service manager. Long story shortened; they had drained the oil and replaced the filter but had failed to put the new oil in! They immediately corrected their mistake and told her they were sure it hadn't caused any damage to the engine.
When she told me the story later that night I exploded. I was at the dealership when the service manager arrived the following morning. I confronted him and he acted like a sheep in the company of wolves. THEN I jumped him about the tire rotation we paid for and didn't receive. How did I know? Two of the tires were RWL and the other two were blackwalls. Both the RWL tires were on one side with the RWL to the inside so they matched the others. Everything was in the exact location as when she drove in the day of the non-work!
All association with that Dealership ended that day!

For that, and many other reasons, I change my own oil and filters! Granted, I'm not a Certified GM Service Technician, but my customer is satisfied! Also, I have a number of choices as to where I drop my used oil.
