65 GTO Tri Power Project Car Value
A buddy of mine has a 65 GTO hardtop tri power that he has owned for the last 20 years. A few years back he took the entire car apart with the thoughts of doing a restoration. He has the Pontiac PHS paperwork showing it is an original tri-power. He has been collecting parts for her for years. When he bought the car the tri-power setup was gone. He has since purchased a tri-power for it. I think he has the matching numbers 389, not sure though. The metal is in good condition and in primer. The parts are in his basement and the car has been under a tarp in the driveway in New Jersey. He takes the tarp off every six months or so to clean off the leaves.
What do you guys think this project is worth? I know I have not provided all of the details but I am looking for a ballpark estimate.
He also has some nice Ram Air heads and a few other goodies!!
