The problem is it takes just one idiot to ruin the whole thing. Not everybody has your attitude where they do a burnout where it is relatively safe.
I go to the Grand Rapids cruise here in Michigan and you have some people here that do some pretty wild things. This cruise takes place on 28th street in Kentwood, MI. People line up for miles on either side of the street watching cruisers. At a couple of the stoplights there are curbs where people, including children, sit and watch guys in there cars do burnouts!! These people are sitting 2-3 feet away of a car that if it let loose would probably hurt them pretty bad, if not kill them. To me that should not be allowed.
Point being in this rambling post, is most people are safe in what they do, but there are a few that are reckless and those people need to be stopped.
