Default Re: Hone-o-Drive

I've had three of these things, paid anywhere from $600.00 for one that is "loose" and paid $900.00 & $1100.00 for two that were gently used and just serviced before I purchased and ready for bolt in. I think I purchased them all well and I would not sell them for what I purchased them for. Does it have speedo cable and shifter? Is there a serial number on the raised boss, any cross member? They came with a very short cross member that usually was bolted to a longer cross member that was fabricated onto the frame. Gotta be worth at least $1500 at least, although I have yet to physically see a restored car with one installed.(I do know that Reggie Fountains Mako has one installed, although I haven't seen it in person). I sold my 427/435 Motion equipped Corvette to a guy with a hone o drive unit, he is taking the car back to "day two" configuration and he is installing the unit in that car behind the 512 block L88 he is installing in the thing.
