Default Re: Radiator Tags

[ QUOTE ]
I personally don't frequent this site, we have had some people asking for certain coded radiator tags and we need to come up with a bunch of different tags to meet our minimum run quantity. One of our customers said you guys were talking about radiator tags we made already and directed me over to this site. We make a lot of tags already, but there are many more codes out there that need to be made. We are not familiar with all of the radiator tags out there that need made, which is why I posted on here. I thought it would be easier to ask around who needed what codes and what application they were for.
Yes, we are making Oldsmobile heads and Pontiac heads and there is even talk about 68-70 Chevrolet aluminum heads (074’s and 842’s). We make several intakes already, W-30, Pontiac Ram-air, Pontiac Tripower, Olds Tripower, LS6 Chevy; so now were are getting calls on heads and blocks. People calling us for the parts is creating a demand. That tells us there is a need for them, and then we may decide to make the parts. Our business is no different than any other business, except we supply parts needed to restore classic cars.

I personally would not want to see reproductions of 3946074 aluminum heads. I can see this as a real nightmare for collectors, restorers of rare and desireable engine optioned cars. This does not seem like good news for those of us looking for original equipment cars.
