Default A little something more for the Ford fans

I just added a small update to my website in The Engine Room.

There's a short write-up and a video clip of a Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer" engine built by none other than the master of Cammers himself, Mr. "Ohio" George Montgomery.

I had initially intended to bring quite a bit more info on this particular build to the page, but the owner of the engine (who wishes to remain anonymous) requested that the specific details be kept under wraps. Once you read the write-up you'll understand why.

For those who've never had the opportunity to witness one of these engines run, let me tell you that they are a very impressive piece of machinery, and they have a very distinct sound to them as well which I tried to capture on video, but my video camera got a little freaked out at the noise & vibration.

Standing in the dyno cell with the engine under maybe 1/3 throttle, this thing literally rattled my innards.

That being said, please forgive the somewhat abbreviated details and dyno footage and enjoy it for what it is...a little glimpse at a piece of automotive racing history.
