Default Who knows what about Motion Vega's ?

Hi, I have a 73 Vega that I think maybe an original Motion Vega. It came with a 12 bolt that was from a 68 Camaro that has an era correct Cal Custom finned cover on it, Cragers, and a Motion sticker on the rear pass window. These things alone aren't much ,but the car was built in St. Theresa ,Quebec,Canada. the guy that I bought it from didn't know much about it. But,the guy who owned it before is a muscle car dealer that I know of. He is a big fat guy and he kept the Vega in a warehouse for several years. He never did anything with it, but he told everybody that it was a real Motion Vega. I guess he didn't feel like spending alot of money to have it authenticated. Anyway, I don't think the 68 Camaro 12 bolt came with it, but maybe the cover did. I emailed Joel Rosen and he want $2000.00 to authenticate it and that's with no guaranty. Can anybody out there tell me if there is a way to trace down a VIN number (from 73)back to the dealership it was sold from? Vin # 1v77b32121538
