I owned one of these cars back in the day. I drove it on the street and bought it through DeVille Tire company and one of their mechanics, Rick Hitzelberger. I saw Jerry Titus' Trans Am for sale at a place called canepa.com in California. When I checked their website, low and behold there was also a Radial Tirebird.
Long story short, they want $850K for Titus' car and $800K for the tirebird (but they are willing to accept offers). Woulda, shoulda, coulda... I sold mine for $2,200.00 in 1980 because I broke my leg and needed something with an automatic. Yea, I drove it on the street to work everyday and it still had the window straps and sidepipes.
