----I went to Silva's shop in 71 or 72 after seeing a magazine article on the Mako. If you lived in eastern Mass and were a gear head you knew of John as he did so much Corvette stuff. I believe he also was the first guys to do Corvette wagons, which were sort of forgettable to me. It was an interesting visit, but I never quite warmed up to the Mako wannabe. Maybe because of the cost of building one......Bill S
