A bunch of years ago-We actually thought about doing that with a Toshiba TV that we had-that had a known issue with cheap capacitors blowing all of the time. Even under warranty, Toshiba wouldn't stand behind the product.
From AZ to Irvine,Ca is less than 6 hours. I had family that lived close too. My solution? Never buy another Toshiba product...
My sister who now lives in Henderson, Nevada just bought a new Samsung Washer and dryer-and from the time the company delivered it-it didn't work. Took them 3 and a half weeks before Samsung agreed to pick up the set and refund their money.
