My father had crane heads cam combo along with a high rise aluminum intake and holley all recommended by CRANE in Florida - all on his new 67 RS Camaro 327 275 4spd 3.73 - then back in 1968, car got broken into while he was out on Navy Drills in Charleston and they stole his 970 SW Custom tach 2-5/8 3 gauge panel, shifter T handle, and the center caps off of the Torque Thrusts.... he got pissed and drove directly to Greenville and traded it to the Olds dealer for a new 68 442 white over blue auto air SS1's (which I came home from the hospital in as a baby)
The service manager called my dad and asked if it had a Z28 engine in it or something because it ran better than any 327 he had ever driven... he told him about the top end heads and cam... the guy stripped all the parts from it and set it back stock, Dad still talks about how strong the combo was.
