As you can tell from the photos, not many cruisers drove out to Pavilions in the 100+ degree temps today. Two of us were at a cars and coffee event in North Phoenix and drove 9 miles over to Pavilions afterwards. So here are the few photos I shot at Pavilions.
Jen's "new" Mustang
Mark's '32
Cheryl's Road Runner
A few more cars came later, but only about 50 classics came out all day. I shot a video featuring more cars but need to edit it. Looks like cruising at Pavilions will be going into summer mode, as next Saturday temps are forecasted over 100* again. So I may not shoot anymore photos until afternoon cruising resumes. If I drive over there, I'll probably just shoot videos as they are easier to shoot in the heat.
Unfortunately, the younger crowd consistently creates problems when the Pavilions cruise ends at 8 PM. Last weekend, a known cruise idiot decided to blast his sound system which brought Salt River Police out. Heard tickets were issued. Couple this stupid crap with others doing burn outs when leaving and not cooperating with Salt River Police, wouldn't be a bit surprised if the tribal counsel votes to end the cruise. Tickets, fines, and impounding vehicles is not producing desired result.

If everyone likes looking at a different mix of cruisers vs. Pavilions, I'll post these photos next time. These promoters take a hard line stance on cruisers that cannot behave, and they rarely have an issue.
