Default '65-'66 Dual Snorkle Air Cleaner

Here’s a ’65-’66 dual snorkel air cleaner project that I realized I’ll never get around to. The base is correct for ’65 Chevelle L78, Z16 and ’66 L72 full size. The lid I believe is possibly Camaro?? Well anything with a chrome 350 lid (the HP rating is wiped out). The contour of the lid is correct for either. Both the cover and base have what’s left of their decals. Somebody had cut off the side with the distributor notch, then realized it’s not what they wanted to do and welded back together. I bought it this way. They did a decent job of welding it back together to keep the dimensions correct. They cleaned up the welds some but they never finished it. I thought I would get around to it to, but I’ve realized I have too many projects and I’m going to pass this one onto someone else. A little body work and this will be real nice! These are tough to find and this one, despite the cutting and rewelding, has no real rust and is a solid SoCal air cleaner. $900 free shipping to the lower 48, PayPal FF please. I will ship once funds are confirmed and provide tracking. Thanks SYC!
