65 and death....
I enjoy visiting this site to gain knowledge and am always impressed with the cameraderie displayed by the members here. Occasionally there is something that is out of the norm which is a benefit to members young and old. Today I read this post and am glad that I did. My better half and myself are both retiring on the 19th of this month.
We have debated on how to best structure ourselves so that we have ourselves and our children financially positioned to enjoy our "golden years".
We have debated about using our Condo on Maui for months at a stretch in the winter, we live on Central Canada so going somewhere warm is a must, but feel that this is unfair to our children and their wives that they are not able to use it during the winter....
After showing my wife this list we are relieved to see we are not the only ones who contemplate these predicaments so...
Sorry kids but....
1) We will do our best to enjoy the fruits of our labour to our fullest
2) We will use the Condo for 3 months and not feel guilty about it
3) We will beat the crap out our toy (69 Nova, 427, 4spd) whenever we want
