"There are many reasons why some owners just won't part with them and let them deteriorate. One may be they rather see them rot than someone else have fun or resurrect them. Others are they don't have time, money, motivation and or have a sincere attachment and can't let go of their youthful memories."

Steve S - I couldn't agree more...some people are selfish, others cannot/will not admit to themselves they'll never restore the car, etc.

And, although I am certainly on the side of "please don't let it degrade any more than it has"...or "would you please sell it to someone that would restore it?"....I sincerely respect the right for people to do with what they want to their own personal property.

Just because "I" think someone should do this or that with their own property doesn't make me right and them wrong.
