Jeff
Harry Snow and Chris Spanos had the COPO Twins in Atlanta 1996 and SuperChevy Indy 1996.Harry had those COPO's advertised in Hemmings,Dec.1996,May 1997,Nov.1997.75K for the pair!
They sold the Manual trans.COPO at Carlisle in 1998 I believe.
My friend and I bought the Auto.trans. COPO in February 1999-took possesion here in Il. April 99.
We did a Canadian VIN Search with George Zapora.I needed to get cash liquid later on so I cashed out.I was chasing another car that never materialized.
My friend had sole ownership of your COPO.He soon sold it to a broker, who soon sold it later on.
Jim Silvers and John Pazalelle bought it here in Il. again.

Your COPO is one of 201 1969 Chevelles exported to Canada from U.S.A.
No breakdown of how many were just COPO 427.It came with PL5 F70X14 White lettered tires, and SS rims.No SS center on steering wheel.I think the Black pinstripping was proved to be added later.I was locating a Smog system for it when he sold it.

That website mentioned above,is not the twin to this car.The twin to your COPO has No buildsheet, and was an M-22,not an M-21.Both baltimore built, and both delivered to Central Chev-Olds in Ontario,I believe.

I still have all the Paper work copies on this Car as well as many pictures. It is a VERY nice car, belongng to a very nice guy!
