We have a new Corvette since mid March and I’ve had on our two post lift. There are two front and two rear slotted holes which are the cars lift points. There are also four round holes, two forward of the rear slotted holes and two toward the rear of the two forward slotted holes. The car was lifted with the rear lifting arm not placed on the more rearward slotted hole area but the more forward round hole which has no structural strength so it appears the lift arm once the car was raised just tore thru the car. The correct lift point is more rearward just in front of the rear tire. When lifted using the four correct lift points the car is very stable.
