After lurking the site for years and being a member over a year, I'm enlisting help from the member base of SCR in finding the ideal car I’m after as I see a consistently higher quality of cars and genuine, honest and trustworthy members/sellers on SCR. I'm looking to purchase another cruiser that I can take out on a sunny weekend - something that isn't a performance variant, is low maintenance and simple/original. To this end, I’m searching for a base 69 Camaro coupe. My short list of what I’m looking for is:
- 69 Camaro coupes only
- Original 327/307 (base) car. May even consider a 6 cylinder.
- Completely original, not modified in any way. This means cars wearing their correct exterior/interior (as denoted on cowl tag), correct driveline (numbers matching not essential but correct OEM replacement with correct parts ok), etc.
- Restored, driver or survivor.
- No projects, no rust buckets, no slap together restos.
Please drop me a message if you’ve got a base 69 I’d be interested in. Before anyone asks - no, I’m not turning this into a COPO clone and whatever I purchase will need to be and remain 100% original.
For transparency sake, I'm located in Western Australia. Happy to consider all cars across the US but obviously the closer to CA, the better (where the car will be shipped out of).
