Default 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster L79

Here is a Corvette I bought at the beginning of the year from a forum member who has a reputation for great solid cars. This is no exception. This is quite frankly just a sweetheart of a car. I always struggle a bit with selling cars this nice (much like the 68 Z28 I had advertised about a month ago). I fall in love with most every car that passes through my hands.

2 time NCRS Top Flight Award winner (one chapter @ 96.9%, one regional @ 96.4%). Documented with NCRS Top Flight certificates and judging sheets ( judging sheets available to serious parties) , NCRS Shipping Data Report (as delivered to Jack Head Chevrolet in Alhambra, CA) Al Grenning CCAS Engine Case authentication. 64k miles with all original matching numbers. Mostly original paint with a beautiful rust free frame. This car was a lifelong southwest car until January 2021. Killer original interior!!!!

Noland Adams has documented 336 L79 roadsters were produced with air conditioning. Furthermore, Adams documented there were only 34 L79 air conditioned cars produced with K19 Air Injection Reactor (coupes and convertibles). This is one rare car!!!

All fluids flushed / changed. Recent services include rebuild of 3814 Holley carb, rebuild of original starter, rebuild of original fan clutch, tune up, cleaning and rebuild / testing of all gauges. Brand new Goodyear 7.75-15 Speedway Blue Streak tires installed (W/W tires pictured that car was judged with are included in sale).

This car drives tight and stops straight. The engine pulls just like a well sorted L79 should. The transmission upshifts / downshifts as though it was new. The clutch is smooth on engagement and the rear diff is quiet. This car is one of the nicest driving midyears I ever have had the pleasure of sitting behind the wheel!!

This is a great car for the next owner to pursue further NCRS awards, Bloomington Gold, and MCACN Triple Diamond. It just as easily can serve for leisurely cruises and spirited driving (see video).

Here is a driving video I shot yesterday morning. I think it sums up why I am so fond of this car!

Sorry about all of the wind noise, I'm a bit limited in my "tech" skills
