Default 1968 Ram Air 1 GTO 33K miles

I’m helping a friend sell his car which is located in PA.

Available for the first time in 50 years by the second owner:

1968 Ram Air 1 GTO, 33k original miles, Verdoro Green with black interior, born with drivetrain, Ram Air I 400 (360hp), M21 4-speed, and 4.33 Safe-T-Track. The current owner knew the original owner and purchased the car in 1972. The high price of gasoline in 1973/1974 due to the oil embargo, resulted in the car being put in storage. The car was driven only a few times per year thereafter.
A frame-off restoration was completed in 2016, restoration pictures are available. The frame and engine were done first, after which the body was done. During restoration, the only items replaced in the interior were the headliner and rear package tray. Seats, dash, carpet, door panels etc. are original to the car.

This GTO still retains the impossible to find original 7028275 carb, 31 heads, dist. etc. This was an original dog dish car; the current owner added the Rally 1 wheels.
Very rare car with known history.

Paperwork includes POP, PHS docs, and restoration documentation.

This is 1 of 650 RA1 4-speed GTOs built in 1968.

Factory options:
Ram Air 1
4.33 Safe-t-track (mandatory w/RA1)
M21 4-speed
Hideaway headlights
Console
Clock
Power steering
Custom shift knob
Soft-Ray glass, all windows
Ride and Handling package
Luggage lamp
G70X14 Red wide ovals
