December 1, 1962: Crowds gather for the first view of the new Boeing 727 jet
On Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019, an airplane that used to be the most popular in the world flew its last scheduled flight with passengers. A Boeing 727 operated its final passenger flight, between two Iranian cities.
