when i was a kid, and in high school, many days id walk by a maroon LS5 auto car..no stripes but white interior..all orig..popped motor..as a teen with the car bug..it was so exciting to visit that car.....extremely nice car...that was in 78-80ish it was a nice car
i went by 4 or 5 years after graduation and it was gone..i begged those people to sell it to me..i was so disappointed thinking they sold it or worse scrapped it......come to find out, they got it back on the road...it was a grandma's car, she bought it brand new... and after she passed they got it running in her memory..although it had a small block..it was back on the road....i was glad to see it happen really..it was such a waste sitting in the drive...
