Mike I appreciate you looking out for me on the details but this is one area on my restorations I throw originality out the window. I have always placed the seat tracks on top the carpet. I know this car had the carpet replaced at one time so I really cant say for sure how it came. I did find carpet under the feet of the seat tracks but so many things can happen to a car in its lifetime.
