That's what I was thinking when I heard him rev it a little and I see 8K.. Lol. Great look car! </div></div>

Those aftermarket tachs had a switch or wire loop so that you could run them on 4 cyl, 6 cyl or 8s. I would check the internal wiring to make sure it is set for an 8 cyl. Good Luck, Grandpa kept the car looking nice!
