So got to look at the 69 Impala 427 convertible today. Not exactly what I thought it was going to be. He never disclosed that the right quarter was replaced by Who did it and ran and why even bother. Second the quarter that was replaced was hit again and fixed by Who did it and ran and why even bother cousin. Both fender had patch panels. Right fender was replaced , the right fender skirt still had wrinkles in the front from the accident. Left quarter was start to pie crust forward and rear of the wheel opening.front bumper needs replacement. Right side core support still had damage. Still had all original weather stripping even on the trunk on the right side because they cut the quarter in an inch in from the gutter on the top of the quarter. It does have the original engine. I didn’t check the trans or rear because I knew I wasn’t going to buy it at that point. I believe the mileage is correct. Trunk and floors were solid. All in all it’s a driver. Someone else might be up for a restoration but for me I don’t have the space or time now. He has the original radiator hoses, fuel pump in boxes. Power drum brakes.
