Talking 15X8's & P275-60's

Here's my old '70 Nova (no engine or trans in the photos). It had 15X8-inch custom steel wheels with a 5.0-inch backspace and P275-60 Nitto drag radials. The Mark Williams 12-Bolt was stock width with stock steel drum brakes. The lips were not rolled, but it was close. In retrospect, a wheel with a 5.125-inch backspace would have been even better

Keep in mind that every car will be a bit different and it's a really (Really!) good idea to measure your own car before you buy the wheels. Type of brake can make a difference too.
