Just got back from the track.
Some very nice cars to say the least. The RAM AIR II 'Bird was an awesome sight. Very nice detail and after hearing some specifics of the build-no doubt they have put their best foot forward. Lane's 'Stang was simply awesome. And he is one to watch out for as he posted an absolutely ridiculous 1.61 60' on the polyglas tires. That is about as good as it gets.
Ed Cook should be more of a factor tomorrow as we were fighting some performance issues with the car. Hats off to James as well running an 11.40 when his block was sitting in my shop last week with a 5" crack in the #4 cylinder. I got it finished just yesterday.
Some really slick and hard running cars in the F/S division. The two black cars (Chevelle and Camaro) from Michigan were as beautiful as you will ever see!!!
The guys at the top were flying. It was an awesome sight to say the least.
Oh, and one thing remained consistent throughout all of this mayhem. Dave Dudek and the mighty elephant is STILL the one to beat..
