There is a mist of yellow on the back underside of the hood... this being the case I believe that the rear of the hood was painted yellow...

I have a shot of the rear lip and it shows full yellow coverage. -FWIW if you set up the front end panels on a buck with a 1-2" gap between hood fenders valences and then shoot them you will get coverage which should mimic Chevrolet assembly Norwood.



As far as body coverage... Resist the temptation to turn the gun nozzle pointing UP... they were on reciprocating rails at Fisher Norwood and the gun more or less stayed horizontal which is why the lower rockers are light, the under lips of the quarters are light and the lower rear valence lip is light...

Not the best photo however you can see the light coverage on the lower lip of the tail pan,
