I knew there were a lot of good folks associated with the SCR, but I still get blown away at times by how they are willing to help. At 8:08 am Thursday I put the word out that we were needing a radiator for the Yellow sub, and preferably a curve neck/auto BBC one. Less then an hour later I received word that a new, and correct, radiator would be waiting for us Thursday evening at the hotel in Bowling Green.

And, the helping hand continued on Friday, as we kind of experienced tire issues on the way to BG, having three blowouts, rolling in to the hotel about 2:30am. We debated what to do, finally deciding to go to the track and work on the sub, and deal with the tire issues there. Shortly after unloading and starting to put the sub back together, I was asked if we needed anything, I replied some tires for the trailer, but not just normal trailer tires, but 17.5. Within five minutes I was handed a cell phone, speaking with a tire shop that not only had the tires, but also would mount and install them at the track. Could not have worked out better, as the shop coming to us and doing the work would allow me to help Rob. By noonish the tires were mounted and on the trailer, at about the same time we buttoned up the sub. With the trailer issue behind me, I got to enjoy watching Rob and the sub make some passes.

I would like to mention everyone by name that helped, but I am afraid I might miss someone, as I know several folks either helped, or were willing to help. Rob and I cannot thank you enough, and if ever we can return the favor, do not hesitate to ask.
