Musclecar Confidential...............
I just picked up Joe Oldham's book and was reading about his Camaro that had been stolen shortly after taking delivery. Then I was reading about the '69 RAIV Firebird he requested from Jim Wangers to fill the void left by his stolen Camaro. If any of you have this book, and I think some guys on this site do have it, check out the picture of the Firebird doing a burnout at the strip; isn't that Joe's stolen Camaro in the staging lanes behind the Firebird?

Sure looks like Oldham's Camaro. The photo might show a different RA Firebird for magazine testing and Oldham's 'replacement' RA Firebird was not this car? Although the text does imply that Oldham asked Wangers for the test Firebird after the Camaro had been stolen. Maybe Marty Schorr is reading this and can shed some light on this! Good eye!
