Your not pulling that car apart already to find paper work are you? What, you don't believe the car is real? You are a knucklehead! Get that car to VF and stop worrying about your paperwork! GEEZE!

CRD appears on many Nova buildsheets that I have...it has been discussed before on various sites. I don't recall anyone having an answer to this...maybe check with Greg Roberts at the Nova Research Project www.chevynova.org

FLT is another one that I have seen...

This is an elusive code. One of two I do not have figured out. My best guess would be to denote a customer ordered car vs one for stock. But that is just a guess. I do not have enough fisher body buildsheets in the database to draw a conclusion.

The other unknown is FLT which I think might mean Fleet or a dealer stock car.

It was suppose to be another code. BUT the Chevy guy responsible forgot and put CRD there. Can't Remember Dick hence CRD

FLT did stand for FLEET line and is still being used today.
CRD has been discussed in the past as standing for CUSTOMER ORDER,but Jim M. had told me awhile age it most likely meant CIRCLE ROUND.As in reference to how Willow Run prepared the body/frame to accept some specific things during assembly.
He didn't elaborate on what exactly.

[/ QUOTE ]NO more breaks for Rob! He owns a survivor L78 nova now so he stepped into the big leagues. No more being easy on the kid. His skin will thicken up as he gets older. Besides Jeff, we have been nursing this young lad for months over these survivor novas. I am proud of him that he finally stepped up to the plate and bought himself a REAL car. About paper work.........Nope, my nova stands on its own with original owner history (never looked for any build sheets) and the Z/28 has nothing, no paper except for the DG3 behind the seat on the cross brace and just looking at the components the car came with. If Rob does not come to VF he will not get any TastyKakes from us! Then Dru will get to eat ALL of them.
