Default Original vs. Aftermarket

How do I tell the difference between original GM and aftermarket 140 speedo and 8,000rpm tach?

the color is different - tough to match 40 year old ink. Do you have an original to compare against?

If you replace both not so much an issue but if you replace just one you would see the differnece IMO

If original, there should be ink-stamped dates on the back of the gauge face.
