Hey Kids,
I'm working on my 69 Z and was getting ready to install the drivers side plug wire stand when I realized I have several different variations in my "clean parts" pile... Which style is correct for a 69 Z? One that leans towards the front of the engine, goes straight up, or leans towards the firewall? Does the assembly date or plant make a difference (mine is a 10A NOR)? With or without Cowl Hood (mine came with a flat hood)? I've seen all three styles on many cars but was curious what is considered "correct" if there is such a thing... Just want to put the right style back on my ride if possible. Thanks! Charlie

Sounds like a question for Sammy...if you don't have the right one, I'm sure he can sell it to you

Thanks for the pic Steve!
It's a little tough to tell from the angle of your photo, but that looks like the straight up tower style to me. In one of my "1969 Camaro" Fact books, it shows the tower that leans toward the front of the engine (page 76), and I believe the assembly manual shows one that leans toward the firewall.... Still not sure if any particular style or all three types are considered correct.... I'll use the straight one on my car unless someone has more detailed info as to which one of the three variations would be more correct for my application. Any other input at this time?????
