Default Tall Tale?

Think there is any weight to this story? Even if someone else bought the car, it would be foolish not to buy the block? I imagine a tall tale, but you never know.

With a date code of 10/29/69 that seems a little late for a Yenko built car but this would not be the only time a rare car has been parted out in Connecticut.

That is what I thought too. It seemed interesting so I posted it.

Worth the same, whether it came off a Yenko or a Stenko.

Look at the selling history of the guy that sold the 63 421 Super Duty Tempest. He just sells thrift store/second hand type junk. He sure made it big time (226K) with the Tempest though.

Maybe worth buying just to get the whole car story thing from the seller?
Could lead to the real thing or expose a fraud car?!

"...by the time I got there two different people not knowing what it was had bought the frame and the most of the body. Engine was seized so I got what i could. Took the intake and the heads..."

Wonder what 'most of the body' means?.
Passing on the seized engine sounds funny but does he still have the heads?.
