Carl Ramsey closed about 20 years ago, I live about 10 miles from there what to you like to know about it. I have a friend that lives across the street from the dealership building and knew them very well.

Talked to the son inlaw of the owner, he said that he did not remember the car your talking about. He said that he remembers that they painted a brand new corvette black that a man wanted to buy his wife for Christmass. He said they destroyed all the records when they moved in 1994. I asked a couple friends about the car, they do not rememeber it, I trying to get a hold of someone else thated worked there who might know about it. I will kept on trying.

My 69 Camaro Indy Pace Car is from Carl Ramsey Chevrolet, Brownsville, PA. I still have the dealer emblem. It was a "rare" car in that it is a column shift, powerglide, 10-bolt car. Why someone would equip an Indy Pace Car with all the goodies, but not go for the 3-speed or a console is amazing to me. However, they did spring for the shoulder belts, which was pretty expensive in comparison to the other options.
The car was a dealer trade from Anthony Chevrolet in Fairmont WV. The customer (the lady I bought the car from) wanted an automatic and Anthony Chev had only a 4-speed. Carl Ramsey had a pace car with automatic, so they traded it out. Just thought you would want my Carl Ramsey Chevrolet story.
