Stewart Warner 2 5/8" Gauges Questions

I installed the above size/style of SW gauges in my 69' Camaro COPO recreation.

Is this gauge the most used accepted style size to replicate the old school look ?

I have another set of three (oil,water,amp) NIB that I would like my money out of !!!

Is there any source of a 3 gauge 2 5/8" chrome panel that has a wide edge like
was original ???? vs my panel with NO edge ???

Just my opinion -- in the 60s/70s the 2 1/16" gauges were more common. I am sure others will chime in. This is the set that is going in my 71 Nova ... TAZ

These, larger SW gauges were installed by the original owner of my Dad's 67 Nova either in 1967 or early 68.

I think the smaller ones were more common because they were less expensive. The larger ones are more desirable IMHO.

Where do I find the 3 gauge (2 15/16) panel like above in Nova
that has edge running around sides and bottom ????

Did you look at the repro Stewart Warner Greenline gauges???

If you can't find a panel than HAVE ONE MADE and then get it chrome plated. It won't necessarily be cheap to make if you want it close to exact but it's your money. How hard do you want to &quot;replicate&quot; the look?

Surely someone has one of the old S-Warner chrome gauge panels around?

If you want the panel shown in the Nova that follows the contour of the gauges, that is a Sun panel. The Stewart Warner gauges will fit in the panel with no problems. They are pretty hard find find as just the bracket. They are usually loaded with Sun Blue or Green line gauges.

The brackets are hard to fine but out there.

I was digging through gauge parts for another member and saw this bracket. I remembered someone looking for one and was able to find this thread. I actually have two of them. Both appear to be NOS with night shelf wear. Let me know if you are still looking for one.
