L72, the GM printout on my Camaro lists the ZN1 as dual exhaust and ZW1 as an M-22 transmission, but it also lists the M-22 as a seperate option. I am curious as to why it is listed twice with different codes. Wes

ZP8 and ZV6 also show up some times. I've seen no rhyme nor reason to these numbers and Gm of Canada doesn't know either. I've seen ZN1 listed as a spring option in other cars. Neither of our Baltimore cars appear to have had build sheets either.

There is a lot of confusion on the Canadian RPOs. I have not found a listing for them. I was looking for some for a 300 Deluxe that has Canadian documentation. It has T93 LAMP TAIL & STOP (SPECIAL) but I can't find it listed anywhere. It appears that Chevy used additional repetitive RPOs for Canada documentation for some reason. The George Zapora Canadian documentation sometimes has conflicting information and I heard one guy recieved different information from them on the same car.
I have some in my notes but have seen different definitions for some of them so I do not know if these are correct. Maybe we can reference these to what other people have received from the George Zapora Canadian documentation. ZN1 COPO AXLE 4:10 ZP1 COPO TIRES RWL F70x14 ZP8 MFG STATEMENT OF ORIGIN ZV9 SPECIAL ORDER PROCESSING ZW1 COPO TRANS M22 ZV7 M21 ZV6 M20 ZQ9 PERFORMANCE AXLE RATIO ZK8 TIRE PRESSURE DECAL [Edited by JoeC (01-04-2002 at 01:13 PM).] |

keith,my car is also a baltimore car,one of the previous owners, not knowing it was a copo, because of the L78 code, and missing engine, since recovered, remembers giving the build sheet to the next owner,so this particular car seems to hve had a sheet, hopefully there's another in the car yet... thanks for the help guys,i've got a boatload of questions yet,but am learning tons from this site..

Ok, here's what I get off my sheets that I have available.
ZJ7: special wheel hub cap & trim ring ZK8: tire pressure sticker ZP1: COPO Tires ZQ7: Canadian warranty booklet Z23: Interior decore package ZK3: deluxe seat belts & front shoulder harness ZN1: 4:10 ratio, COPO package (heavy duty guts?) OK now don't laugh anyone but here is my theory on the nexy four numbers ZW1: M22 driveshaft ZV7: M21 driveshaft ZV9:turbo 400 driveshaft ZV6: M20 Driveshaft I have only seen ZV6 once and it was on a M20 COPO Chevelle. It should be the same shaft as the M21 but... Anyone want to tear that theory to shreds????? Note: most these number came off Camaro sheets but some off Chevelle! Go easy on me ![]() Peter
